Rita Isom

Rita Kay Isom, 62 of Corsicana passed away April 9, 2022, peacefully surrounded by her family in Corsicana. She was born November 7,1959, in Ennis, Texas to parents Jack and Edith Newland. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be sorely missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Edith Newland, son Rodney Lynn Isom, siblings Billy Newland, VJ Newland, LaDonna Kristen, and Barbara Molidor. She is survived by her husband, Kerry Wayland Isom; daughter, Laurie Brazier and husband Jimmy; Sons, Kerry Dean Isom and wife Gale, Christopher Isom and Ed Isom and wife Janis. She is also survived by her sisters Linda Maggard, Brenda Allen, Joan Jensen, Loretta Wiese; brothers Danny Newland, Davy Newland; 15 grandkids, and 7 great grandkids Pallbearers will be Kerry Dean Isom, Cody Isom, Colton Isom, Christopher Isom, Ed Isom, Timothy Black, Brandon Brazier, Seth Ralls, Ethan Child, James Tippett. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Visitation will be Friday, April 15th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm Saturday, April 16th at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Burial at Black Hills Cemetery.
