Ray Dean Ingham

January 3, 1938 - July 5, 2021

Following a brief illness, Ray Dean Ingham, 83, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana, Texas. Dean was born to JD and Letha Ingham on January 3, 1938 in Corsicana, Texas. Dean was preceded in death by his twin brother Roy Eugene Ingham; his father JD Ingham; his mother, Letha Ingham, and his stepmother Cassie Ingham. Dean is survived by his son Roy Dean Ingham, his grandson Stephen Ray Ingham, both of Corsicana, Texas and his niece Karen Lampin and her two sons Colby and Craig, of Tyler, and a large circle of family and friends. For a large part of Dean’s working life, he worked in auto parts retail sales. Dean had a broad knowledge of vehicle parts and their functions and was an ace at troubleshooting for a diagnosis of the issues. Dean and his twin brother Gene spent most of their leisure time in nature and the outdoors. Both could often be seen at Navarro Mills long before dawn setting up for the big crappie catch. Early fall each year for over forty years, Dean and Gene would plan for weeks preparing for their annual bow hunt in Llano, Texas. The comradery and grilling with their hunting buddies were a special part of the hunting trip for both Dean and Gene. Dean also enjoyed his daily trip to town for a morning chat (he called it breaking news) and a cup of coffee with his local buddies. The family of Ray Dean Ingham wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Navarro Regional Hospital, Twilight Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Century Hospice and Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home for the exceptional care provided for our loved one. Graveside rites at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery are currently pending and will be provided on this site when a date and time have been determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society
