Mary Frances Kormos, 89 of Corsicana passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 with her family by her side. Mary owned and operated a Bridal Shop from 1973-2002 (25 years) with partners Andra Miller and Frances Breazeale. She was a member of the Alter Society for many years, and a treasured member of the parish. She was one of the oldest lifelong members of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a very devout christian, and a devoted catholic raising her children actively in the church. She donated the statue of the Virgin Mary to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in memory of her mother Frances DeGeorgeo, and it was dedicated on May 28, 1964. She was a also a graduate of Corsicana ISD and Navarro College. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Kormos; sons, Anthony Kormos and John Kormos; granddaughter, Talia Kormos and great grandson, Kinsler Davis; four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Smith and husband Steve; son, Joey Kormos and wife Cindy; sister, Annie DeBello; grandchildren, Chad Davis and wife Kari, Shae Smith and wife Laney, Chris Davis and wife Jessica, Michael Kormos and wife Christa, Scott Kormos and wife Laine, Shae Kormos and wife Haley, Sloan Kormos and wife Alex, Tony Kormos and wife Christina, Macayla Kormos and Courtney Edgecomb. Great grandchildren, Merrissa Davis, Shyanne Smith, Michael Martin, Hunter Smith, Rivers Kormos, Kinsley Kormos, Kade Kormos, Lawson Kormos, Peyson Corley, Jase Davis, Cayman Smith, Kypton Davis, Brysen Davis, Joclyn Davis, Letty Kormos and expecting Jack Kormos in August 2021 and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her lifelong friends, Andra Miller and Frances Breazeale. Donations or memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in memory of Mary Frances Kormos. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, June 10th from 6:30pm-8:00pm at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Rosary will be held Thursday, June 10th at 6:00pm in the Chapel at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home officiated by Deacon Lewis Palos. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Friday, June 11, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church officiated by Father Juan Carlos Marim Cortez. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chad Davis, Shae Smith, Chris Davis, Sloan Kormos, Michael Kormos, Scott Kormos, Shae Kormos and Tony Kormos.
