September 19, 1937 - February 2, 2021

Marie Y. Watson "Bonnie", 83 passed away February 2, 2021 in Corsicana. Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Friday, February 5, 2021 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Graveside will follow at Dresden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Brown, Bobby Terry, Les Cotton Jr., Joey Watson, Jeffrey Watson, Danny Bickerstaff and Paul Bickerstaff. She was born in Pisque Ridge, Texas on September 19, 1937, she was the daughter of John Churchman and Addie Grace Arnold. She attended Mildred ISD. She went to Cosmetology College in Corsicana. Bonnie was a member of Harmony Christian Ministries. She also attended 11th Ave Baptist Church for many years in which she was the secretary. She loved her family and friends. She worked as a beauty operator at Country Meadows Nursing and Rehab Center for many years. She loved playing games with her best friend Eva Nell Hill. She enjoyed spending time with her dog Bobby. She always had a joke to tell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Watson; father, John Churchman; mother, Addie Arnold; brother, Bob Churchman and sister, Reda Bell. She is survived by son, Wallace Watson of Corsicana, son, Eddie Watson and wife Rita of Frost, daughter, Tracy Brown and husband Ricky of Corsicana, honorary son, Rick Herron of Corsicana; grandchildren, Joey and Becky Watson of Fairfield, Amy and Dow Scott of Fairbanks, Alaska, Christina and Bobby Terry of Corsicana and Jeffery and Cissy Brown of Corsicana; great grandchildren, Jeffrey Watson, Grady Watson, Maggie Scott, Eli Terry, Baileigh Terry and Rhett Brown. She was loved by many other family members and friends. The family would like to thank Country Meadows Nursing and Rehab Center of Corsicana and Navarro Regional Hospital for their care of Marie "Bonnie" Watson.
