Joe L. Guerra , 84, of Corsicana, Texas passed away on 06/09/2022 at 10:50am in Waxahachie Texas. Joe was preceded in death by his parents- Severo and Rumalda Espinoza. Brother- Jimmy Espinoza. Sisters- Susie Espinoza Hernandez and Angelita Espinoza Daughter- Cecilia Castillo. Sons- Severo “ Cuco “ Espinoza, Jose “ Tico “ Espinoza and Roger Espinoza. Joe is survived by his Wife- Mary Guerra. Sisters- Petra Espinoza , Lupe Lalamantez and Lydia Espinoza. Brothers- Severo “Eddie” Espinoza and Hilario “ Larry “ Espinoza,. Sons- Daniel Espinoza, Ruben Espinoza, Ricky Guerra, Jose Guerra, Bernie Guerra, Jimmy Guerra and Johnny GUerra. Daughters- Rosalinda Espinoza, Angelita Espinoza, Erlinda Espinoza, Sylvia Espinoza, Julia Espinoza, Linda Escobedo and Norma Ruiz.. Joe Guerra was born on a small farm in Bastrop, Texas on 04/15/1938. He grew up in Bastrop/ Smithville Texas in his early years and spent much time in San Antonio Texas during his late teen and early 20’s years. He spent the last 41 years of his life in Corsicana, Texas. Joe may have had some struggles in life, as we all do but he lived life to the fullest. He loved music,cook-outs and his family. All you have to do is say his name and people will know who ‘ol Joe was as he was a stranger to no one. Our family is grateful to know that our father is finally at peace. A memorial service will be held on June 25th, 2022 at Freedom Life Corsicana, 1803 W 7th Ave, all family and friends are welcome. John 16 : 22 “ Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
