July 12, 1935 - May 26, 2022

Iris Lavaene Ogden of Maypearl passed away on May 26, 2022, at her residence. She was born July 12, 1935, in Dawson, Texas to James Cuie Marrs and Nola Irene Freeze Marrs. She was a member of the Landmark Church. She enjoyed ceramics and painting figurines. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Nola Marrs, daughter Katherine Mayes; brothers, Wayne Marrs and Dutch Marrs; sisters, Geraldine Watson, Jodelle Marrs and Theda Marrs. She is survived by her son, Bobby Wayne Ogden, daughter, Virginia Kay Brown and Rodney, grandchildren, Jeffrey Brown and Bonnie, Jessica Benton and Kirk, Leigh Ann Moorehead and Chris, Andrea Roberts and Kevin and Jennifer Mills. Great grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Preston Brown, Addison Brown, Sadie Benton, Lincoln Benton, Kendra Roberts, Kaden Roberts and Chris Moorehead, a number of nieces, nephews and extended family members. The family would like to give a special thanks to Bristol Hospice, Angel Healthcare and Lisa Hodo (caregiver). Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 10:00am - 11:00am at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held 12:00 noon at Boardtree Cemetery with Jerry Bloomfield officiating.
