Danny Laird

Danny Clark Laird , 58 , of Fort Worth , passed away Wednesday January 6,2021 at home surrounded by family. He passed away in Frost,TX following a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Danny was born in Fort Worth to Hugh (Bud) and Margaret (Jean) Laird , the youngest of three boys. Danny graduated from Haltom High School in 1980 . In his free time he loved being outdoors , enjoyed fishing and hunting ,and cooking BBQ on his smoker. His family meant the world to him and he was a big kid at heart. One of Danny’s biggest accomplishments was being a father and grandfather. When his twins granddaughters where little they would call him pimpy and it became a family joke .He was always there for his children through their ups and downs, and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer. He is survived by his wife Darla Laird of 33 years and children Amanda Laird, Trent Freeman, his Wife Misty, Krista Prevost, husband Colin. Danny had 10 Grandchildren: Lyndsay, Madison, Kylie, Bradin, Taryn, Tinsley, Barrett, Dustin, Summer, Nathan, and one Great Grandchild Luna. Brothers Mike and Jeff Laird,wife Terri Laird and many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his Father Hugh Laird, Mother Margaret Laird , and his favorite fishing buddy Grandma ( Pauline Self) and many other loved ones. The funeral service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday January 9,2021 at 11:00 a.m. , the viewing and visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. -11:00a.m. prior to the service.
