Bryan Keith Dowdle, 60 of Frost, passed away March 9, 2022, in Waxahachie. He was born May 24, 1961, in Dallas to Robert Dowdle and Janis Adams Dowdle. Bryan enjoyed going camping, fishing and deer hunting and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was always working on things and working in the yard. He was an around country boy. He and Allie enjoyed visiting museums and learning about history. They also liked looking for old antiques. Bryan is preceded in death by his mother, Janis McCaleb; grandchild Angel; uncle Bobby Dowdle, aunt Sharon Black, grandmothers Bessie Adams and Bessie Dowdle. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife Allie Dowdle; father Robert Dowdle and wife Sue; daughters, Marla Winters, Kristie Dowdle and son, Keith Dowdle. Grandchildren, Krista Dowdle, Kadee Dowdle, Bailee Dowdle and Michael Dowdle. Sister, Debra Carpenter and spouse Lee. Brother Scott Dowdle Salinas and spouse Rudy Salinas. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm Monday, March 14, 2022 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Blooming Grove Church of Christ with Bro. Walter Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow at Frost Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Meskimen, John Lyman, Jeremy Wilson, Eric Dowdle, Adam Dowdle, William Meskimen, Bobby Frazier. Honorary pallbearers will be James Glenn Orr, Cordale Smith, Keith Dowdle, Rudy Salinas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
