Toni Koneman

Toni Lynn Koneman passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024, at the age of 65, with her loving husband Kerry by her side. She was born on July 21, 1958, to Rosemary and Anthony Giamfortone. Toni spent 42 years residing in Texas City. In 2018, following her husband's retirement from Valero, they relocated to their ranch in Buffalo, Texas. Toni was admired for her kindness, impeccable style, unwavering love for her family and friends, and her radiant soul that could illuminate any room. A proud graduate of La Marque High School, Toni embarked on a distinguished career in banking, starting with Guaranty Federal Savings Bank in June of 1977. She dedicated 30 years of exemplary service before retiring as Vice-President/ Branch Manager of Guaranty Bank in June of 2007. Subsequently, she served as an accountant for the city of La Marque until 2013. Toni was active in the La Marque Rotary Club and was a devoted member of Abundant Life Church. Toni was preceded in death by her grandparents George and Nora Saracco, grandparents Sam and Katherine Giamfortone, Father Anthony Giamfortone, and father and mother-in-law, Norman and Jean Koneman. Toni's legacy lives on through her devoted husband Kerry Koneman, daughters Kristen Huth, Kaycee and husband Rick Hodges, cherished grandchildren Kiersten, Sophia, Liam, Autumn, Lauren, and Levi, her beloved mother Rosemary Giamfortone, caring sisters Sami and husband Gary Hartson and Cheryl and husband Tim Nolte, loving aunts Georgia and husband Ami Barzilay, Dorothy and husband BB Nelson, Mary Louise Giamfortone, sister-in-law Suzy Koneman and a host of nieces and nephews and her special little Kitty Jenny Sue. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Grace Tabernacle Church in Toni's honor. Toni's family invites all who knew her to join in celebrating her life on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Grace Tabernacle Church (149 E FM 489) in Dew, Texas. The memorial service, will be officiated by pastor Jimmy Davis and will commence at 1:00 PM, followed by a joyous celebration and lunch. Arrangements are entrusted by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Toni's departure from this world is a loss deeply felt, but her spirit and impact will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Toni loved God, her husband, her family, and held most precious place of love in her heart for her grandchildren. As she journeys to the gates of Heaven, as a true Proverbs 31 wife, she undoubtedly hears the words, "Well done my good and faithful servant".
