Patricia Katherine Pritchett

Patricia Katherine Pritchett, age 86, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2026, at Twilight Nursing Home in Corsicana. She was born on May 15, 1940, in Corsicana, Texas, to Pat and Martha Horn. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who devoted her life to her family, her faith, and her community. She worked as a school cafeteria lady at Mildred ISD for more than 20 years, where she became a familiar and caring presence to generations of students and staff. She took great pride in her work and enjoyed being a part of the school community. Music and her church were also an important part of Patricia's life. She shared her love of music by playing the piano at Hopewell Baptist Church and later at Angus Baptist Church, where she continued playing until June of this year. Her dedication to her church and her gift of music touched the lives of many throughout the years. Patricia loved going to watch her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren participate in sports and other activities. She could often be found in the stands cheering them on and supporting them in everything they did. She even had her very own reserved chair at Mildred Lane Gym, where she was a familiar and much-loved face. Patricia cherished her family above all else. She took great pride in watching her family grow and treasured the countless memories they made together. Her loving nature, gentle spirit, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Kyle Pritchett and wife Linda, Teresa Burnett, and Bob Pritchett and wife Robin; her brothers, Tommy Horn, Gene Horn and wife Charlotte; her grandchildren, Jamey Pritchett, Wray Moore, Michael Moore and wife Brandi, Kirk Pritchett and fiancée Misty, Aaron Burnett and fiancée Samantha, Trevor Burnett, Drew Burnett and wife Haley, Hayden Pritchett and wife Morgan, Avery Southard and husband Keller, Savannah Pritchett, Landon Pritchett and wife Lilie, and Seth McMahon; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law Myrtle Pritchett, Nancy Berry, and Glenna Horn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Martha Horn; her beloved husband, Harold Pritchett; her brother, Benny Horn; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow immediately at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel, with Pastor Terry Winge and Pastor Randal Evett officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hayden Pritchett, Landon Pritchett, Seth McMahon, Aaron Burnett, Trevor Burnett, Drew Burnett, Jamey Pritchett, Michael Moore, and Kirk Pritchett. Patricia will be remembered for her love of music, her dedication to her church and community, and most of all, her unwavering love for her family. Whether serving students in the Mildred ISD cafeteria, sitting at the piano, or proudly cheering from her reserved chair at the gym, Patricia was always there for the people and things she loved. Her memory will live on through the many generations of family she loved so dearly.
