Patricia Anne Christian (March 9th, 1943- April 4th, 2025) We are heartbroken to announce our Memaw, Patricia Anne Christian, of Corsicana Tx passed away on April 4th, 2025, peacefully in her home with her beloved dog Corky by her side along with family. Born on March 9th, 1943, in Pittsburg TX, Pat spent 82 wonderful years spreading joy to all around her. A generous and loving soul that was a comfort to many, most of her time was spent taking care of her family, her friends, and her community. In 1960 she married our Pepaw, Wayne Christian. After years of traveling and moving around for work they finally settled on our family farm in Rice, TX in 1973, and built their dream home. This is where they resided and finished raising their two beautiful children Denise and Kerry. They celebrated 53 years of marriage together before he passed. In 2017 Pat left the farm to move back to the “City” where she felt she belonged. She resided in Corsicana until her passing. Pat had a fond love for painting, animals, and clothing. She opened her own dress shop, The Butterfly Boutique, in Corsicana, TX. Named after her immense love for Butterflies. She also had a career at Sears but was most known for her years devoted to the Navarro College Bookstore, where she was the Book Manager before retiring. She was blessed with many friends who were family to her. It was her passion to make sure everyone was taken care of. Pat has been a member of Northside Baptist Church in Corsicana since 1988, where she was able to serve her lord faithfully, which was her biggest life blessing. To know Memaw was to know her faith and love for Jesus. She is preceded in death by her mother, Cassie Marie Shaw Vines; father, R.V. Vines; husband, Gilbert Wayne Christian; daughter, Phylliss Denise Christian Hare; son, Kerry Glenn Christian; as well as many extended family members. She is survived by her grandchildren, Timothy Dwain Kennemore and Jasmine of Corsicana; Robert Wayne Christian and Ashley of Navarro and their son Colt Wayne Christian and daughter Kaisley Grace Christian, Crystal Lynn Young and Jordan of Rice and their sons Zayden Glenn Young and Carter Jake Young; Kelsee Leigh Gomez and Daniel of Arcata CA; brother, Steve Vines and Kerry of Ventura CA; Like sister, Rose Faucett of Tahlequah OK; as well as many extended family members and a host of friends. Visitation will be 10a.m-11a.m., funeral services at 11a.m. Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at Northside Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Northside Baptist Church, 2800 North Beaton St., Corsicana, Texas 75110.
