Leticia “Letty” Espinosa Beloved mother, grandmother, and woman of faith February 28, 1978 – April 18, 2025 Leticia (Letty) Espinosa passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, in Corsicana, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith. Born on February 28, 1978, Letty left this world way too soon, but not without touching countless lives along the way. Letty was a woman who lived not for herself, but for those she cherished most. Thoughtful in every sense of the word, she had a quiet way of showing up for the people she loved—whether with a kind word, a helping hand, or simply her calming presence. Her heart beat strongest when surrounded by her family, whom she held above all else. Letty's life was guided by her steadfast faith in Jesus Christ, though sometimes shaken, it was never broken. She found strength, comfort, and purpose in her relationship with God and leaned heavily on that faith in her later months as she was hospitalized and away from her family. Her faith was not always loud, but it was lived—seen in her compassion, tremendous resilience, and grace. She is survived by her younger brother, Miguel Cosme Espinosa of Corsicana and her three children; Carl Ray Girard and wife Pam of Ferris, TX; Courtney Michelle Blanks and spouse Ashlie of Forney, TX, and Jeremiah Carson Espinosa and wife Cella of Corsicana along with their two beautiful children, and Letty’s only grandchildren, Amoni and Jeremiah Jr., who brought light and joy to her later years, months, and days. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles; Samuel E Espinosa, Angelita E Van Ness, Martha Ann Espinosa, Robert G Espinosa, and Frances L Ramos, all of San Antonio, Jo Girard of Waxahachie and their significant others and spouses, along with numerous loving cousins and other family members and friends. Letty is preceded in death by her mother, Sally Ann Espinosa, her grandmother Guadalupe G Espinosa, her step-grandmother Betty Frances Dozier Espinosa, and her grandfather Santos Espinosa, Jr. She was blessed to be surrounded by so many personal friends that loved her deeply and considered her family as well. Though she has left this earth, the mark Letty made on the hearts of those who knew her will never fade. Her memory lives on in every warm words of advice, every act of selfless love, and every whispered prayer. She will be missed beyond words—and loved beyond measure.
