Dianna Frost

Alice Dianna Frost, of Navarro County, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, at the age of 80. She was born on September 22, 1945, and lived a life marked by faith, family, friendship, generosity, and a remarkable love of people and places. Dianna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Wayne Frost and mother and step father Vernell Groth and EW “Doc” Groth. She is survived by her four sons and their families: Cody and Amanda Robinson of Jefferson, Georgia; Kevin and Melissa Robinson of Willis, Texas; Robby and Dawne Robinson of Blanco, Texas; and Mark and Karen Robinson of Pineville, Louisiana. She is also survived by sister and brother in law Anita Frost Sunderhuse and Steve Sunderhuse of Corsicana as well as Wayne Frost’s daughter Jennifer Leight Frost of Arlington, Texas. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren: Ellie Robinson, Jack Robinson, Carter Robinson, Tucker Moore , Wade Robinson, Jacob Robinson, Jared Robinson, Judston Robinson, and Katlyn Wasswa and Irvin Wasswa. She was also blessed with two great-granddaughters, Willow and Lily Wasswa, who brought her great joy. Dianna loved her family most of all. Closely following that love was her devotion to her church and her joy in traveling across America, especially visiting the nation’s beautiful national parks. She treasured the memories made along the way and the opportunity to experience the country she loved. Dianna was a proud graduate and valedictorian of her class of Mildred High School, Navarro College and Texas A&M Commerce. Dianna also found great joy in her work as an advertising agent for 106.9 The Ranch radio and previously at KAND radio, The corsicana daily sun and the corsicana independent school district. She spoke often and fondly of her coworkers, clients, and friends, and the relationships she built through her work were clearly meaningful to her. She never seemed to meet a stranger and had a way of making people feel welcomed and valued. Those who knew Dianna would describe her as friendly, tenacious, and extraordinarily generous. She had a determination that served her well throughout her life and a generosity that extended far beyond material things. She gave her time, her attention, her encouragement, and her friendship freely. Dianna Frost was a familiar face in Navarro County. She was a friend, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, a church member, a coworker, and a neighbor whose presence enriched the lives of countless people throughout the region. Visitation will be held at Griffin Roughton Funeral Home Friday August 28th from 9:00 a.m.to 10:00 a.m. wit funeral services immediately following at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Charky Maquis officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Navarro, Texas. She will be deeply missed by her family, her church family, her many friends and coworkers, and the entire Navarro County community. Her life was a gift to those who knew her, and the memories she leaves behind will be cherished for generations to come.
