Deborah Kay Clower

Deborah Kay Onstott Clower, lifelong resident of Corsicana, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the age of 63 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 31, 1952 to Bill and Louise Onstott. For most of her life she was a homemaker. Deborah met her husband Richard at school when she was 12 years old, and they married on April 3, 1970. Throughout their 45 years of marriage, they welcomed 3 daughters, and later 8 grand kids. Her grand kids were her whole world. If you knew Deborah, you knew she loved her children, her grand kids and Halloween. She dressed up as a witch every year and decorated her house and yard to a "T". Her favorite things to do were to sit around the kitchen table and talk for hours, tend to her flowers, and spoil her grand kids. She was proud of each accomplishment they achieved and bragged about them to everyone. Her grand kids had a special place in her heart. She is preceded in death by her brother, William Carl Onstott Jr.;her father and step mother, Bill and Elizabeth Onstott; mother and step father, Louise and Donald Sikes; grandparents, Albert and Bertha Jamison and nephew Teddy Brown. Deborah is survived by her husband Richard Clower of Corsicana and their 3 daughters, Richelle Hall and boyfriend Aaron Sumpka of Dawson, Tiffany Praytor and husband Jessie of Purdon and Haley Clower and boyfriend Richard Conger of Corsicana. Deborah is also survived by her grandchildren; Lacey Turner and husband Cory, Cody Hall and girlfriend Leslie Beamon, Jacob, Zane, Becca and Maddi Praytor, and Malakai and Mauy Clower. She is also survived by her siblings; sisters, Scharlene Brown of Corsicana and Vickie Tomlin and husband Steve of Corsicana; bother, Duane Onstott Sr and wife Debbie of Dawson. She leaves behind her dearest friends Sandra Covington and Diana Ball, and an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation with her family will be Tuesday evening, January 19, 2016 from 6 - 8 pm at Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 2 pm in the Chapel at Griffin - Roughton Funeral Home with Rev. Clayton Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
