Cory Don Campbell Jr, 14, gained his angel wings on June 22, 2023. Cory was born in Corsicana, Texas on May 23, 2009. Cory loved to listen to his favorite artist " NBA Youngboy". He also loved hanging out with his brothers, playing baseball and football. It never fails, every chance he got you would find him driving his momma's car. Cory was a mature and strong young man and always took care of his momma. His free time always included his family and friends. You can always find him with his fresh pair of White Airforce's on. He was preceded in heaven by Grandfather Johnny Vincent Samples, Grandparents Robin and Robert Campbell, Grandfather Raymond Brand, Granny Pat, Great Uncle Manuel Sanchez, Great-grandfather Papa Charles Knott, Great-grandfather Buster and Granny Perry. Cory is survived by his parents Rebecca and Brian Caves, Father Cory Campbell Sr. Siblings; Kayden Vincent Patrick, Daniel Cox, Jaiger Kelly, Joshua Cox, Ayden Perry and Sophia Fugate. Grandparents Annette and Michael Garcia, David and Tammy Sanchez. Great-grandparents Billie and Royce Cox and Great-Grandmother Modesta Sanchez. Aunts and uncles; David Lee Sanchez, Briceland Sanchez, Brandon Sanchez, Jordan Sanchez, Jonathan and Lindsey Lewis, Sheri Sanchez and fiancé Edgar Yvon, Christian Garcia, Kayla Vinyard, Alisha Samples and Krista Sanchez. He is also survived by numerous cousins by blood and love. Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2023, from 6:00- 8:00 PM at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery. Any and all bike riders are encouraged to help the family escort Cory to the graveside. The family would like to invite everyone to wear Pink for Maddison Acker and Blue for Cory Campbell. There will be ribbons provided in each color in memory of them. The family would like to thank everyone for reaching out and for the continued prayers their family has received.
