Alvaro Diaz

With profound sadness, yet with the hope that comes through our faith in Christ, we announce the passing of Alvaro Diaz, who entered into the presence of the Lord on July 2, 2026, at the age of 65. In his final moments, he was surrounded by the love of his wife, his children, and his loved ones, who remained faithfully by his side until the very end. Alvaro was born on March 23, 1961, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and later made his home in Corsicana, Texas. He was the beloved husband of Maria Del Socorro Diaz, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. He was a loving father to Alvaro Jr., Christopher, and Sarae, and a proud grandfather to Noah, Addyson, Salem, Amaya, Nolan, Zaiden, and Rolan, who were the greatest joy of his life. Above all else, Alvaro loved God and His Word. He spent much of his time reading the Bible and sharing words of faith and hope with those around him. Despite the health challenges he faced, he never lost his trust in the Lord. His strength, his positive spirit, and his unwavering faith were an inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He lived with a generous heart, always ready to encourage others, offer words of hope, and remind those around him to place their trust in God. Alvaro was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Anastasio Diaz and Maria del Refugio Ramos, as well as his brother, Anastacio Diaz. He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Maria Del Socorro Diaz; his children, Alvaro Jr., Christopher, and Sarae; his cherished grandchildren, Noah, Addyson, Salem, Amaya, Nolan, Zaiden, and Rolan; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever remember his love, wisdom, and faithful spirit. Although we say goodbye with heavy hearts, we find comfort in God’s promise of eternal life and in the assurance that one day we will be reunited with him in the presence of the Lord. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7 Con profunda tristeza, pero con la esperanza que nos da nuestra fe en Cristo, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Alvaro Diaz, quien partió a la presencia del Señor el 2 de julio de 2026, a la edad de 65 años. En sus últimos momentos estuvo rodeado del amor de su esposa, sus hijos y sus seres queridos, quienes permanecieron fielmente a su lado hasta el final. Alvaro nació el 23 de marzo de 1961 en San Luis Potosí, México, y más adelante estableció su hogar en Corsicana, Texas. Fue el amado esposo de María Del Socorro Díaz, con quien compartió 45 años de matrimonio. Fue un padre amoroso de Alvaro Jr., Christopher y Sarae, y un abuelo orgulloso de Noah, Addyson, Salem, Amaya, Nolan, Zaiden y Rolan, quienes fueron la mayor alegría de su vida. Por encima de todo, Alvaro amaba a Dios y a Su Palabra. Pasaba gran parte de su tiempo leyendo la Biblia y compartiendo palabras de fe y esperanza con quienes lo rodeaban. A pesar de las dificultades de salud que enfrentó, nunca perdió su confianza en el Señor. Su fortaleza, su actitud positiva y su fe inquebrantable fueron una inspiración para todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Vivió con un corazón generoso, siempre dispuesto a brindar ánimo, ofrecer palabras de esperanza y recordar a los demás que confiaran en Dios. Alvaro fue precedido en la muerte por sus queridos padres, Anastasio Diaz y María del Refugio Ramos, Y su hermano, Anastacio Diaz. Le sobreviven su amada esposa, María Del Socorro Díaz; sus hijos, Alvaro Jr., Christopher y Sarae; sus queridos nietos, Noah, Addyson, Salem, Amaya, Nolan, Zaiden y Rolan; y familiares y amigos que siempre recordarán con cariño su amor, su sabiduría y su espíritu lleno de fe. Aunque hoy lo despedimos con el corazón lleno de tristeza, encontramos consuelo en la promesa de la vida eterna y en la certeza de que un día volveremos a reunirnos con él en la presencia del Señor. “He peleado la buena batalla, he acabado la carrera, he guardado la fe.” 2 Timoteo 4:7
