Hagen Chad Thetford

Hagen Chad Thetford passed away early Tuesday morning June 30, 2015 at the age of 12. He was born in Waco, Texas on January 26, 2003. Hagen was all boy. He loved life playing baseball, football, basketball or any other sport that he could. He enjoyed watching the Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M and the Dallas Cowboys. As kids can do, he could make you laugh at any given time with a joke, saying or some type of dance. One way to make you smile was by “playing” guitar either in the car or at the house. He had just completed the 6Th grade in Bynum and had been attending services at the First Baptist Church of Big Springs. At the time of Hagen’s death he was with his maternal grandmother Mary Knight and step grandfather Jeffrey Knight who also passed away and an uncle Drew Reynolds who passed away a short time later. Preceding him in death was his paternal grandfather Clyde Armstrong, paternal grandfather Cecil W. Mobley, maternal great grandfather Jerry Reynolds, maternal great grandparents Leon Breckenridge and Sharon Karrigan and uncle Chad Reynolds. He is survived by his father T.J. Thetford. Thetford, MiMi Becky Mobley and PopPop Greg Kunze; great grandmothers, Donna Webster and Leah Mobley; great grandfather Robert “Opa” Kunze; aunts and uncles, Phillip and Amanda Armstrong, Josh and Kelsey Thetford, Jacey and Billy Webb, “Peek a Boo” Armstrong, Jason and Katt Thetford, Jennifer Smith, Brandon and Crystal Mobley. He is survived by his mother Erin Reynolds. Grandfather and step-grandmother Wade and Tina Reynolds ; great grandmother, Shirley Reynolds; aunts and uncles, Jason and Whitney Nealy, Stormi and Jeremy Dowdle, Nikki and Travis Steele. Hagen is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends of his family. A Celebration of Hagen’s life will be held on Monday afternoon, July 6, 2015 at 2pm at the First Baptist Church of Blooming Grove with Bro. Grady Cashion officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Blooming Grove with Cody Anzadula, Josh Ball, Walter Garcia, Brad Russell, Cody Muldner, Raymond Tovar and Randy Richards serving as pallbearers.
