Brenda Kay Sudduth

Brenda Kay Robinson Sudduth, 49 of Corsicana went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 2, 2021 with her sister and brother-in-law by her side at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana, Texas. She was born on August 14, 1972 in Springdale, Arkansas to William Dwayne and Shenia Kay Robinson She worked for Walmart for 25 years at various stores in Arkansas, the store in Corsicana, and at the home office. Later on, she obtained her Certified Nurses Aide certification and worked at various nursing homes in Arkansas and also Heritage Oaks Retirement Village in Corsicana. She later started working as a private sitter with the elderly. She had a huge caring and loving heart and had a great love for helping people, and would often say “that the ones she was caring for and taking care of were not her patients but rather they were her extended family”. She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, nanny and friend. She had a great love for her Lord, and was a faithful part of Calvary Worship Center in Corsicana, and enjoyed helping out in any way she could with church functions and helping with the church youth camp every summer. She loved life, bowling, dancing, going to sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and her caring spirit and hearing her say “The best is yet to come”. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Shenia Robinson; grandparents, Wesley and Venita Robinson, Jeri Goates, and Eddie Wilson, Great Grandparents, Robert and Mable Douthit, and her fiancé, Kevin Stephens in January of this year, that was the love of her life the past few years. She is survived by her sons, Dexter Sudduth of Huntsville, Arkansas and Ely Sudduth of Bella Vista, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jimmie Wayne Elliott, III, Callie Kay Smillie and Jakob Sudduth; her Identical Twin Sister, Linda Ratliff and husband Toby of Corsicana; brothers, Jerry Dwayne Robinson Lowell, Arkansas and Zachariah Robinson and wife Natasha of Elkins, Arkansas; Nieces, Madison Ratliff Carr and husband Orion Kountze, TX, Elizabeth, Addelyne, and Addison Robinson; Nephews, Wesley, Zeus, Shayne and AJ Robinson; Aunts, Jean, Jeannie and Shelia; Uncles, Wyatt and Curtis; Great Aunts, Letha Beaty and husband Gary of Columbia, TN and Erma Nelson and husband Walt of Ft. Myers, FL; Great Uncles, Kenneth Douthit and wife Nettie and Joe Carter and wife Jackie all of Arkansas; and numerous cousins, extended family, and a big host of friends. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a. m. On Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary W. Johnson and Rev. Rick Martinez officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial of her cremated remains at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas next to her parents at a later date. Friends desiring to do so may make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice
